Welcome to this Ladder Stitch module which is one module in the Beadworkers Guild's series 'How To Be A Beader'. It forms part of the Guild's education programme and is designed to be used by complete beginners or those with little experience of the various techniques of the stitch.
If you work through the all the sections that make up this module, you will have covered all of the common basic techniques of the stitch in sufficient detail to be able to go on and use this stitch in a wide variety of projects.
If you are new to beading you should complete the 'How to be a Beader' module first. It will give you all of the information you need in order to get started, give details on how to set up a workstation and then cover the additional knowledge you need in order to keep beading and complete all of the things covered in the stitch modules.
If you are not completely new to beading you may not need all of what is in the 'How to be a Beader' module, but we would suggest that you have a look through it as it may contain information on things that you are not sure about.
This module is structured in such a way that you can work on just one aspect of the stitch or work through the whole thing. Each of the basic techniques covered are in separate sections.
